MORA NEGRA
ONE OF THE FEW WINES THAT EACH TIME YOU TASTE IT, MAKES YOU THINK IF YOU KNOW THEM OR THEY KNOW YOU.

MORA NEGRA

Of a violet red color, with ripe berries’ taste and aroma together with vanilla scent, sweet spices and smoky bouquet, Mora Negra has an intense flavor and soft texture that persists in the palate.

Its vineyards are localized in Tulum Valley and Pedernal Valley between 650 and 1350 meters above sea level. As an advantage, the altitude offers cooler nights, giving freshness to the wine: it moderates the heat during the day, giving a ripe berrie’s taste. It also provides plenty of ultraviolet rays, offering wines of a soft texture as well as intense color and taste.

A unique blend of Malbec and Bonarda grapes coming from the most ancient vineyards of the region.
Its vintage is done by hand in little containers of 20kg and then they are fermented in stainless steel tanks. The 15 months aging in new american and french oak barrels, gives spicy and smoky flavors, while its later rest in the bottle, results in a wine of intense flavor but at the same time soft and velvety in the palate.

A wine that happily couples with a great diversity of cheeses, due to its velvet-like texture as well as pasta with meat and risottos.
